If you are looking for a light read, here’s a book for you. The Wedding Switch is a novella so there isn’t much to it but it will definitely help pass the time while traveling.
Loved the opening scene! And when she opened the door…I would have enjoyed being part of that scene. How many of you can relate to trying to get your ring (or something personally valuable) after you dropped it into some sort of drain?
This is short. Yeah, I know I already said that. I would have liked this story to be longer and a little more fleshed out but hey, bet a lot get edited out. The ending is too predictable for me but it was still a good read.
I appreciate that the female lead is not one to just walk down the aisle. She senses that something is off with her relationship with her fiance, Derrick Coltrane. He seems to be in a rush to get her to the altar but his sweetness towards her is gone.
Enter Hunter Price. Hello, hot stuff! Too bad he’s planning his wedding to his girlfriend…or is he? You know I hate giving spoilers so all I can say is, temptation walked in the door. What is the girl going to do?
On the whole, I would give this book a rating of 3.5. I liked the story but I want more depth in my books. Still I enjoyed the story and appreciate that Sharon Kleve didn’t write a fairy tale, unlikely to happen story.
