It’s a brand new year and it’s time to get started on another 365 days. Now, now….I can her the booing from over here. Yeah, there are too many people who go on and on about new year resolutions and then barely get past a weekbut hey, they at least got 7 days in!
It is easy to plod along and just go from day to day. Before you realize it the year is ending and the question is, what do you have to show for that year? Are you happy with how your last 365 days went? Do you have memories that you cherish of those days? Or is it nothing but a blur?
Taking inspiration from Matt Cutts, I’d like to make my year a little more memorable by trying something for 30 days. Off the top of my head, here are some things I’d like to do (in no particular order):
- Learn a new language – prepare to travel
- Write a novel – even if I never let anyone read it.
- Take daiiy pictures – hopefully getting better everyday 🙂
- Learn to cook veggie dishes that meatlovers would enjoy
I find myself thinking of a few and then discarding them because I know I can’t sustain the interest in it. It’ll be an interesting challenge to myself to see if I can do this and see at the end of the year how many “30 days” I successfully complete.
